IOGEAR™ EP 100
Mobil industrial , United States
Product Description
Iogear™ EP 100 is an extreme-pressure gear oil that is specially designed for oil field pump jack gear drives. It is specifically formulated to operate at both low and high ambient temperatures to give year round performance capabilities.
It is also well suited for other low-temperature gear applications, where excellent low temperature performance is required.
Features and Benefits
Iogear EP 100 multi-season extreme pressure industrial gear oil, designed for oil field pump jack gear drives operating over wide temperature ranges, offers the following performance features:
Features |
Advantages and Potential Benefits |
Excellent low-temperature fluidity |
With a Pour Point of -40°C and a Brookfield Viscosity of 73800 cP at -35°C, Iogear EP 100 oil resists channeling and minimizes air entrainment at low temperatures. These characteristics help to ensure proper lubrication right from equipment startup |
Outstanding wear protection |
Iogear EP 100 oil contains a potent extreme pressure additive that protects gears against wear when subjected to shock loading. Its 27 kg (60lb) Timken OK load provides the extreme-pressure properties required by the American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) for heavier EP grades |
Rust Protection |
Iogear EP 100 oils is formulated to protect lubricated parts against the rusting caused by condensation inside gear drives. It passes the very sever Synthetic Sea Water Rust Test |
Low Foaming Tendency |
Iogear EP 100 oil is treated to resist the foaming that can both interfere with oil film formation and make dipstick readings difficult. Iogear EP 100 oil exhibits very low foaming tendency and no foam stability |
