Product Description

Mobil™ Monograde 40 is a heavy duty motor oil designed primarily for use in passenger car gasoline engines. It is formulated from high quality mineral base oils and an advanced additive system required for combustion engines where an API SL motor oil is recommended. Contains an effective balance of detergents and dispersants to minimize sludge and deposit formation, retain alkalinity (TBN), and reduce wear.

Applications

Mobil Monogrado 40 is recommended for the lubrication of gasoline engines for passenger cars. It can also be used in hydraulic and gear applications if the manufacturer approves the use of monograde motor oils for these applications.
