Product Description

Naprex 38 is a process oil, naphthenic of light color and low viscosity, of the non-staining type and with Good stability to ultraviolet light. It is compatible as a softener with natural rubbers, butyl, SBR and neoprene, but incompatible with nitrile rubbers. Special efficacy demonstrated with Neoprene (GN, W, WRT) and as a softening plasticizer in Hiparon (polyethylene sulphonated chlorine).

 

Applications

It is used massively as a softener in compatible natural and synthetic rubber processes, in items such as: tire tubes and rims, rubber sponges, flexible floor tiles and walls, shoes in the manufacture of straps, gaskets and neoprene hoses, etc.
