Mobil HYDRAUL™

Mobil commercial-vehicle-lube , Canada

High Performance Multipurpose Tractor Fluid

Product Description

Mobil HYDRAUL™ products are high performance multipurpose tractor lubricants developed for use in agriculture, forestry, mining and construction equipment where a common oil sump is used for the transmission, differential, final drive, wet brake, wet clutch and hydraulic components. The advanced technology in Mobil HYDRAUL products is designed to optimize the performance of agriculture, forestry, mining and construction equipment operating in a wide range of environments and conditions. Mobil HYDRAUL products combine select base oils and an advanced additive package to deliver the varied lubricant performance properties required in severe duty applications of agriculture, forestry, mining and construction equipment drive trains. Mobil HYDRAUL is particularly well suited for reducing wet brake chatter.

Features and Benefits

Mobil HYDRAUL 50 and Mobil HYDRAUL Extra have been specifically developed to ensure good low temperature fluidity for winter operations as low as -35°C. Mobil HYDRAUL 56 oil provides all-season performance down to -25°C.

Mobil HYDRAUL contains anti-wear and extreme pressure additives to provide exceptional protection against wear and scoring to help extend equipment life. Corrosion inhibitors protect against rust and corrosion in wet or humid environments. Potent inhibitors resist oxidation and thermal breakdown to increase the service life of the oil. Anti-foam additives provide resistance to foaming for optimum performance of transmission and hydraulic systems. Mobil HYDRAUL fluids have carefully balanced friction characteristics to provide outstanding wet brake chatter control and clutch operation in a wide range of equipment including John Deere, New Holland, Case and Volvo. Mobil HYDRAUL fluids are compatible with commonly used elastomers, including Viton, for extended seal, gasket, brake and clutch component life.

Applications

 •  Agriculture, forestry, mining and construction equipment where a single fluid is recommended for the powershift or hydrostatic transmission, differential, final drive, wet brake, wet clutch and hydraulic components.

     •  Mobil HYDRAUL 56 is recommended for systems calling for a "heavier" viscosity fluid in summer operation or "all-season" use where temperatures are above -25°C.

     •  Mobil HYDRAUL 50 is recommended for year-round service in systems calling for a "lighter" viscosity fluid, and as a winter grade in place of HYDRAUL 56 oil in systems operating down to -35°C.

     •  HYDRAUL EXTRA is an all-season product suitable for the most severe applications over the operating temperature range of -35°C to 100°C.

     •  The following specifications have been deemed obsolete and are superseded by a current original equipment manufacturer's specification, backward compatible to the previous specification: JICASE MS 1207, JICASE MS 1209, FORDNH FNHA-2-C-201.00, and FORD ESN-M2C134-D
