Product Description

Mobil Delvac Modern Coolant Extreme Ready Mixed is a nitrited ready to use pre-diluted Coolant/Antifreeze formulation for heavy duty and light duty vehicles and equipment. It is formulated with an Organic corrosion inhibitor Additive Technology (OAT).

The product also offers freezing protection down to -36 deg C and increase boiling point of 8 deg C.

 

Features and Benefits

Mobil Delvac Modern Coolant Extreme Ready Mixed is a heavy-duty, ethylene glycol engine coolant based on OAT technology. It is free of amines, borates, nitrates, phosphates and silicates and contains nitrite and molybdate.  The product provides excellent protection of the metal alloys found in most cooling systems. Being phosphate and silicate free also eliminates the risk of hard water scale.

Note: Do not use in potable water systems.

8,000 hours

 

It is recommended to change the coolant every five years or when above mileages/operating times are reached, whichever comes first.

Wide Range of Applications

Protects engines where the OEM specifies a nitrite and molybdate coolant. Can be used in heavy duty engines using EGR, DPF or ACERT technologies. Suitable for mixed fleet applications.

Compatibility

While compatible with conventional antifreezes dilution with conventional antifreeze could reduce extended life benefits. ExxonMobil recommend that this product not be diluted by more than 25% with other coolant formulations to maintain performance claims.

Stability

Can be stored for approximately 8 years in sealed containers without any effect on the product quality or performance.

 

Applications

• Heavy duty engines where the OEM recommends a silicate free coolant containing nitrite.

• Suitable for mixed fleets of light and heavy-duty trucks, or off-road on-road and marine cooling systems where the OEM requires a silicate free coolant containing nitrite.

 

The Product is suitable for use in applications where a coolant containing nitrite is recommended by the OEM including*:

• Caterpillar EC-1

• Perkins

• Cummins IS series u N14

• Deutz DQC CB-14

• Volvo
