Product Description
Mobil Delvac Modern™ Coolant Extended Life Concentrate is a non-nitrited Coolant/Antifreeze concentrate for heavy duty and light duty vehicles and equipment.
Mobil Delvac Modern Coolant Extended Life Concentrate is to be diluted with soft or demineralised water to achieve the following freezing and boiling protection.

Note: While Mobil Delvac Modern Coolant Extended Life Concentrate is suitable for use with hard water, the use of softened or deionised water is recommended to avoid scale deposits.
Features and Benefits
Mobil Delvac Modern Coolant Extended Life Concentrate is a heavy-duty, ethylene glycol engine coolant concentrate based on Organic corrosion inhibitor Additive Technology (OAT). It is free of amines, borates, nitrates, nitrites, phosphates and silicates. The product provides excellent protection of the metal alloys found in most cooling systems. Being phosphate and silicate free also eliminates the risk of hard water scale.
Note: Do not use in potable water systems.
Recommended maximum service life:
Passanger Car and Light Commercial Vehicle | 250,000 km at 33% concentration |
Heavy Duty Diesel On-Road | 650,000 km at 50% |
Heavy Duty Diesel Off-Road | 6,000 hours at 50% |
Stationary Engines | 32,000 hours at 50% |
It is recommended to change the coolant every five years or when above mileages/operating times are reached, whichever comes first.

Compatibility |
While compatible with conventional antifreezes dilution with conventional antifreeze could reduce extended life benefits. ExxonMobil recommend that the diluted coolant made from this concentrate is not diluted by more than 25% with other coolant formulations to maintain performance claims. |
Stability |
Can be stored for approximately 8 years in sealed containers without any effect on the product quality or performance. |
Applications
• Heavy duty engines where the OEM recommends a nitrite free, silicate free coolant.
• Suitable for mixed fleets of passenger vehicles, light and heavy-duty trucks, or off-road on-road and marine cooling systems where the OEM requires a Nitrite and Silicate free coolant.
