Product Description
The Fenso™ product line was developed to provide excellent long life performance in quenching operations. These products are dual-purpose oils designed for both conventional quenching and marquenching. The oils have exceptional oxidation stability helping extend oil life and reduce residue on parts and are readily removed from quenched parts with a mild alkali wash.
Features and Benefits
FENSO quench oils offer the following features and potential benefits:
-
Good oxidation stability
-
Resistance to thermal and oxidation breakdown helping to extend oil life and helps reduce carbonaceous deposits
-
Non-corrosive to steel
-
Residues easily removed from quenched parts with only a mild alkali wash
Applications
The FENSO products are dual-purpose oils designed for both conventional quenching and marquenching. The oils can be used in open quenching systems where operating temperatures are as high as 93°C and in closed systems in which temperatures are as high as 150 C.
Fenso 51 is a medium-viscosity oil that can be used in conventional and marquenching operations.
Fenso M 72 is a high-viscosity, high flash point oil that can be used in marquenching operations. It leaves clean pieces and can be easily removed with mild alkali wash as well.
