PREMIUM CHAIN SAW LUBRICANT

Product Description

Heavy Duty (HD) Chain Oil is specifically designed for the lubrication of chains and guide bars on modern high-speed chain saws operating under severe conditions. It is recommended for spring, summer and fall over a range of ambient temperatures from -5 °C to +40 °C.

HD Chain Oil can also be used in industrial applications where tacky anti-wear oil is preferred. This includes chain drives and plain bearings.

HD Chain Oil is not recommended as chain saw engine lubricants.

Features and Benefits

FeaturesAdvantages and Potential Benefits
Reduced WearChain, sprocket and guide bar wear is reduced by the special antiwear properties incorporated in the oil
Minimized RustRust and corrosion of oil-wetted components is reduced due to the addition of rust inhibitors
Reduced ConsumptionA tackiness additive reduces "throw-off", lowering oil consumption while maintaining an adequate oil film in spite of higher centrifugal forces and high local temperatures
Easy VisibilityA red dye is added to allow easy visual determination of chain lubrication while the saw is operating

Applications

  • Woodcutters working at moderate temperatures (-5°C to 40°C) can select HD Chain Oil
