Product Description
Univolt N 61B is a transformer oil that provides cooling, insulating, arc quenching, and cleaning properties while meeting the requirements of an ASTM D 3487 Type II fluid. Univolt N 61B is a fully inhibited Type II oil, which provides outstanding performance in transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and capacitors.

Applications
Univolt N 61 B is normally recommended for distribution transformers in the field.
In that temperatures inside a distribution transformer may reach 100C, proper unit design is essential including hermetic sealing. Since Univolt N 61B is a mineral oil type product, flammability makes the product unacceptable for units placed inside buildings.
